Yes TT Hongli may sound bad (or even a taboo) to some, but its' cheap. So why not?

1/100 MG Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode (TT Hongli) + Wings of Light add on


Total damage is $79.76, really painful shipping... next time I'll go by sea freight.

Many runners... about 20+ I counted OMG


First did the frame of the torso

Seriously enjoyed this kit... the building process is long but definitely rewarding seeing how things turn out.

SD Destiny

This is a really old model, I bought it years ago, way back when my model kits often fall apart quickly. This one survived and stays in my shelf now.

This is taken before painting. I lost the beam cannon when I found the model, oh well...



Painting for this was fast, not too bad...

1/144 EG Exia

The final EG I am going to buy, because it is the last one I do not have. Bought it to reward myself for finishing the arduous journey of project work.

Why does it come shrink-wrapped? I bought it from another branch of the same shop, yet most of my EG kits have no shrink wrap except for this?



Anyway, 4 runners, as usual from the EG line


No major botch ups as well, except maybe I smudged the red at the back while I was painting, oh well...

Final product, I like it

Basically I bought this line to practice painting on my more expensive models to prevent botch ups. But they look good anyway so why not keep them?

1/144 EG 00

Twin GN drives, the 00 Gundam, almost godlike except it needs 0 Raiser to stabilize the GN Drives...

Bouht it with the RX-78-2



4 runners, not much



No major botchups, painting is a significant improvment from the RX-78-2, masking used for some hard to reach areas but otherwise, I did not use masking for most of the model

Final product, powerful with the GN blade

Ah the classic Gundam, what most old Gundam fans think of when they hear the word "Gundam"

Bought it with the 00, wanted to buy Exia and 00 first actually but Exia was OOS at that store



Very few runners, 4 at most



First time I tried masking on this... but I botched up, paint seeps into the masking... had to scratch it off using my knife softly (I don't have thinner)

End product is not too bad for the 2nd try...

Not the Aile Strike, not the Launcher Strike, not the Sword Strike, just the Strike

Bought it with a new paintbrush + paints + Gundam marker (which I buy the wrong size)



First time painting was a pain, at that point of time my painting is so bad...

But at least it looked good on camera

1/144 HG Force Impulse

At that time I was itching to build a model kit, so after browsing through the kits in the shop, I decided to go for this



Went for a straight build (because no paints at the point of time)

Soon got paint and painted it, no primer or anything, just handpainted the colours that it required

Turned out quite well, quite happy with it

And a few weeks later I bought a stand
The TT Hongli stand is cheap, $3.50, a bit tight at some spots but works fine



Got a good pose out of it
